Standard Cancellation Policy

📜 HH2L Base Cancellation Policy (for all listings)

Booking Confirmation & Deposit

  • Once a booking is confirmed, the guest must pay the HH2L booking deposit within 24 hours.
  • If the deposit is not received, the reservation may be automatically cancelled.
  • If the guest cancels, this deposit is non-refundable.
  • If the host cancels, the deposit will be refunded in full, excluding the non-refundable service fee.

Guest Cancellations

  • If a guest cancels, the upfront HH2L booking deposit will not be refunded.
  • Any further payments made directly to the host should be returned to the guest, although the host may charge a reasonable administration fee.
  • Guests should carefully review the host’s Additional Rules for full details of their cancellation policy.

Host Payment Deadlines

  • Each host may set a balance due date (1–12 weeks before arrival, or on arrival).
  • Guests are responsible for paying the host in line with this deadline.
  • If the balance is not paid by the deadline, the host may cancel the booking under their own rules.
  • Guests should refer to the host’s Additional Rules for details of payment schedules and late-payment consequences.

Host Cancellations

Any other payments made directly to the host are subject to the host’s Additional Rules.

If a host cancels, the guest will receive a refund of the HH2L booking deposit, excluding the service fee.
